The first pancake
My very clever daughter taught me the other day about the ‘first pancake theory’. Anything you try for the first time is like the first pancake you throw out; it’s never quite as good as the others that follow it. In other words, practice makes perfect. So with this theory in mind I am launching myself into the cyber world of blogging with my first blog, and ‘this’ my first post!!

Nope, you sure aren’t alone with tossing the first one. Mine usually isn’t done all the way through. I wonder if it has something to do with the first pancake leaving some kind of residue on the pan that makes the next one taste and cook better? It’s a mystery to me, but somewhere there’s a stack 2 miles high or more of tossed out first pancakes!
